Thursday 12 Nov 2009 between 12.00 noon - 1.00pm, our class is booked and scheduled to attend the Annual ITE Career Fair at Indoor Sports Hall, which means immediately after your POA lesson.
Attendance will be taken and is compulsory.2)
PLEASE CHECK YOUR CARDS TO RECONFIRM IF YOUR EZ-LINK CARD IS CEPAS . If it isn't contact Mr Chong immediately
3)HAVE FUN AT THE TRIP TO KUKUP!
4) pls tell PM1 teacher on the day that u wan to present ur powerpoint slide :)
5) get prepare to do ur bazaar soon!!

Dear Students of OH Important :1) Please comply strictly with the requirement to wear your lanyard with student card when you are in College from this coming Monday onwards.
2) Please bring your.personal thermometer to school on Monday 6 July, for compulsory temperature-taking exercise. The temperature-trigger is now 37.6 degrees celsius. 3) Please update me on your recent travel history. Students will need to be on 7-day Leave of Absence (LOA) in the following situations : a) Students returning from any of the * H1N1-affected countries; or b) Students whose household members are confirmed H1N1 cases, unless they are already serving HQO. * List of Affected Countries As of 29 Jun 09, the H1N1-affected countries are USA, Mexico, Canada, Australia, Chile, UK, Japan, Spain, Argentina, Panama, Philippines, Thailand, Hong Kong SAR, Dominican Republic, Indonesia and New Zealand. Please refer to the MOH website at http://www.moh.gov.sg for updates. 4) We will issue you the updated student H1N1 advisory note and travel declaration form to fill up on 1st day of next term 6 Jul 09.
For students who are on LOA (leave of absence), they are to fill in the form after their return from LOA.
Haynis / Wei Ling - please help me coordinate the temperature-taking exercise, and travel declaration etc.
Let's all cooperate to make our class and school H1N1 free as best we possibly can.

there are 2 news to make !!!
a) Leave of AbsenceIn view of the escalating number of Influenza A (H1N1-2009) infections, including local infections, a 7-day Leave of Absence (LOA) will be implemented with immediate effect for staff and students in the following situations:- Staff and students returning from any of the affected countries
- Staff and students who are sick with flu-like symptoms or flu-like illnesses (eg fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose)
- Staff and students whose household members are confirmed H1N1 cases, unless they are already serving HQO
Those under LOA are advised to monitor their health conditions, take temperature twice daily and practise social distancing. List of Affected CountriesAs at 24 Jun 2009, there are 15 affected countries, as follows:USA, Mexico, Canada, Australia, Chile, UK, Japan, Spain, Argentina, Panama, Philippines, Thailand, Hong Kong SAR, Dominican Republic and Indonesia Those intending to travel should keep yourselves abreast of developments in the Influenza A (H1N1-2009) situation in the countries you are planning to visit. Such information can be found at MOH's website at http://www.moh.gov.sg.Pandemic Preparedness Clinic Staff and students with flu-like symptoms or flu-like illnesses are to seek medical attention from Pandemic Preparedness Clinic (PPC) or call 993. Lessons will be as per usual on Friday 17 July 2009 for our class, and the only students who are excused from attending classes are the 6-7 students that have submitted their application form (and have been approved) to join the Kukup Trip organised by the School for our Office students cohort.All other students are expected to attend classes. Dear students of OHThere will be another round of Temperature Taking Exercise on this coming Mon, 25 May 09. Everyone must bring their thermometers. Please inform your friends who are not on this email list to bring their thermometer on that day. After 25 May, we will still continue with the 3 screening questions for students but without temperature taking until further notice.extracted from Mr Chong email.
